This week, THE CIRCUS goes behind the scenes with Steve Bannon as he argues for the border wall at an event in Ohio. In Washington, the hosts fan out across Capitol Hill as a dozen Republican senators join Democrats to block President Trump’s national emergency declaration regarding the southern border, setting up the first veto of his administration. In addition to courthouse coverage of Paul Manafort's sentencing and Roger Stone’s status hearing, the program hosts a special gathering of well-known former prosecutors and legal experts to weigh in on all the probes targeting the president and his allies. 

Meanwhile, THE CIRCUS tracks a week of 2020 overtures from Joe Biden, travels to Iowa for Beto O’Rourke’s presidential campaign rollout and catches up with Kamala Harris and Cory Booker to discuss the Democrats’ expanding roster of candidates.
