NEW YORK – March 8, 2019 – With Democratic infighting on full display this week, THE CIRCUS: INSIDE THE WILDEST POLITICAL SHOW ON EARTH examines the ideological debate that is consuming the Democratic Party. In the episode, titled “To The Left” and airing on Sunday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME®, co-hosts John Heilemann, Alex Wagner and Mark McKinnon explore the intra-party clash over whether the best strategy for beating President Trump is to embrace ideas popular with the energized left or with moderate voters closer to America's political center.

In Washington, THE CIRCUS is on Capitol Hill as Democrats divide over how to respond to controversial comments about Israel made by freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota). Amid the firestorm, the program sits down with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan) as she defies the concerns of her party's leaders and announces plans to file an impeachment resolution against President Trump.
