"THE NFL ON CBS" HEADS INTO WILD CARD WEEKEND WITH CHARGERS-RAVENS

 

 

THE NFL ON CBS, home of Super Bowl LIII, continues its 59th season on Sunday, Jan. 6 as Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson call the AFC Wild Card game, L.A. Chargers-Baltimore, from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. in leading CBS' coverage into AFC Wild Card week of its Super Bowl season.  This season marks the 20th time CBS will broadcast the Super Bowl - the most of any network.

 

The day begins with THE NFL TODAY (12:00 Noon, ET) and THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW on CBS Sports Network (9:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET) live from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.

James Brown, along with analysts Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, Phil Simms, Nate Burleson and NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, lead THE NFL TODAY into its 51st year.

 

It's Wild Card Weekend as THE NFL TODAY team previews CBS' game - L.A. Chargers-Baltimore Ravens - by breaking down the X's and O's of the game with all its match-ups and storylines.  In addition, CBS SPORTS PRESENTS Series highlights a feature on Chargers fans from Los Angeles and San Diego; reaction to Saturday's Wild Card games; as well as a special look back 30 years ago when the Eagles and Bears played the infamous "Fog Bowl" on CBS.  And, CBS Sports' Jamie Erdahl and Evan Washburn will report from Dallas and Chicago, respectively, on the NFC Wild Card games.
