CBS SPORTS’ COVERAGE OF NFL FOR WEEK 9 UP +15% OVER 2016

CBS SPORTS’ NATIONAL GAME COVERAGE UP +11% SCORING ITS HIGHEST RATING OF 2017 SEASON

REGIONAL WINDOW EARNS RATINGS INCREASE OF +18%

THE NFL ON CBS’ overall game coverage on Sunday, Nov. 5 is up +15% from last year’s Week 9 coverage, averaging an overnight household rating/share of 11.8/23 vs. 10.3/20 in 2016 in the metered markets.

THE NFL ON CBS scored its highest rating of the 2017 season with an average metered markets overnight HH rating/share of 14.2/26, up +11% for the national 4:25 PM, ET game window that featured Dallas’s win over Kansas City.

This year’s game also was the highest-rated of the weekend on any network.

The 14.2/26 is compared to last year’s 12.8/23 for the comparable national game in Week 9 which featured Indianapolis at Green Bay as the high coverage game in 2016.

This year’s early 1:00 PM, ET window (Denver-Philadelphia, Baltimore-Tennessee, Indianapolis-Houston, Cincinnati-Jacksonville) earned an average HH rating/share of 9.2/19, up +18% versus last year’s 7.8/16 (Pittsburgh-Baltimore, N.Y. Jets-Miami, Jacksonville-Kansas City).
