Today on "The Talk" Natalie Morales asks Kiefer Sutherland if a social post claiming this "'Stand By Me' Fact - to keep in character while off camera, Kiefer Sutherland often picked on Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O'Connell' – True or not true?" He reacts, "Absolutely not true. First of all, I'm not that kind of actor and I wouldn't want to be that kind of person. I spent a lot of time with River Phoenix because we both played guitar, and so that was kind of an in to him. Even though I was seven years older we were both beginning, right. And so there was a lot of discussion about 'how do you develop a character', 'what is your process.' Actually, it's very funny, that at the age of 17 which I was in 'Stand By Me' I had probably a more in-depth process than I even do now. But we didn't get to work together. I think one of things that's been frustrating for me when I think about 'Stand By Me, is they always ask me what everybody else was like...we really only had the one big scene at the end where Wil Wheaton pulls the gun and I had to run away like a girl.' Jerry O'Connell reacts, "You were 17 when you did 'Stand By Me?' I felt like you were like 40...I just thought you were the most grown-up person...Now I will say that Kiefer did not bully us, there was no bullying. But Kiefer, I was so scared of you." Sutherlands adds, "We ran into each other about 10 years after 'Stand By Me' and someone said 'Oh, you should go say hi, that's Jerry O'Connell.' And I said, "No it's not."...we said hello and I gave you a big hug and then I walked away and looked at my friend and went, 'Wow, he's got a lot better trainer than I do."

The thing that scares me about their relationship is it's so healthy for our show. And I'm like, this is not normal. So I'm like, who's cheating next episode.?"

Friday on "The Talk" real life BFFs Jessica Capshaw and Camilla Luddington announce the name of their new podcast. Luddington reveals, "So our podcast, that we just actually recorded the first episode, it's called, "Call It What It Is." Capshaw adds, "Which is based on the fact that we as friends have always been there for each other through some pretty momentous ups and downs...in a very kind way but be very honest." Luddington clarifies, "It's not a Grey's re-watch, which some people think that it might be." Capshaw adds, "But we will talk about it...I think that we both have just such deep wells of gratitude for all the people who have made the show a success...so we sort of wanted to scale out and be able to connect more with all of those people and others." On their dream guests, Capshaw admits, "I'm a Swiftie through and through, I would like to have Taylor [Swift] and [mother} Andrea." Luddington says, "Maybe like Jennifer Coolidge, I feel like she'd be so fun giving advice with us." On their dream advertiser, Luddington blurts, 'Vibrators. If you've got a good vibrator, we're going to talk about it."

Jerry O'Connell says, "You say that women often date down...I actually thought about this, I think my wife kind of dated down when my wife went out with me." Stanger reacts, "Oh my god, I'm not going to say this, but you put Stamos in the ground. So you know how hot you were, and you still are...a man that is good to a woman is like this [Stanger raises arm high]. Stanger goes on to add, "There's ton of trends. First of all, girls slipping into DMs...there's also, speed dating is coming back, pickle ball is all the rage, and the last thing is coffee and chill, where you get into the ice bath and you go get coffee and then everybody sees you in your bathing suits." Akbar asks, "Jerry and I, we both have teenage daughters...how can we help them navigate dating and how do you start having those conversations?" She says, "You gotta have the early conversation about losing their virginity really early on, more than 16. I'm sorry, you have to." Akbar reacts, "My heart just dropped right into my stomach." Stanger continues, You should have the talk with your wives, Rebecca's [Romijn] amazing, you sit down and look, that first time sets the trajectory...basically you raise your standards when you do that."
