60 MINUTES” WAS #1 ON SUNDAY

CBS was once again the most-watched network during week 24 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending March 10. CBS has been the most-watched network for seven out of the past eight weeks.

For week 24, CBS had an average of 5.75 million weekly viewers, beating ABC (5.30m), NBC (4.72m) and FOX (2.50m). Season-to-date, CBS is first with 9.27 million viewers, and NBC is second (7.76m), followed by FOX (6.10m) and ABC (5.57m).

On Wednesday, CBS was second in viewers (4.38m) while SURVIVOR was first in adults 18-49 (1.5/07, tie).

On Thursday, CBS was first in viewers (8.31m), adults 25-54 (2.1/08) and adults 18-49 (1.3/06). CBS was first in every half-hour in viewers and key demos. THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (12.99m), adults 25-54 (3.3/13) and adults 18-49 (2.1/10) and was the night’s #1 program across the board. YOUNG SHELDON was #1 in its time period in viewers (11.57m), adults 25-54 (2.7/10) and adults 18-49 (1.7/08). MOM also topped its half-hour in viewers (8.30m), adults 25-54 (2.1/08) and adults 18-49 (1.2/06). At 9:30 PM, FAM was first in viewers (5.68m), adults 25-54 (1.4/05) and tied for first adults 18-49 (0.9/04). Rounding out the night, S.W.A.T. was first in viewers (5.58m), adults 25-54 (1.4/06) and adults 18-49 (0.9/05).

On Friday, CBS was once again first in viewers (7.36m), adults 25-54 (1.5/06) and adults 18-49 (1.0/05) – winning every half-hour in these measures. CBS was first in viewers for the 22nd time in 24 Fridays. CBS NEWS: THE GAYLE KING INTERVIEW WITH R. KELLY was the top-ranked show in its hour in viewers (6.56m), adults 25-54 (1.7/07) and adults 18-49 (1.2/06). CBS posted the time period’s best adults 25-54 delivery since August 18, 2017 (BIG BROTHER SPECIAL) and best adults 18-49 delivery since March 23, 2018 (NCAA Men’s Basketball). HAWAII FIVE-0 at 9:00 PM was first in viewers (7.27m), adults 25-54 (1.4/05) and adults 18-49 (0.9/05). Rounding out the night, BLUE BLOODS was first in viewers (8.26m), adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and adults 18-49 (0.9/04). BLUE BLOODS was the night’s #1 program in viewers and the week’s top drama.

On Sunday, 60 MINUTES was first in viewers (8.60m) and was Sunday’s most-watched program. At 8:00 PM, GOD FRIENDED ME was second in viewers (6.63m) and was the night’s #1 scripted program. From 9:00-11:00 PM, the special ARETHA! A GRAMMY CELEBRATION FOR THE QUEEN OF SOUL was second in viewers (5.41m).
