“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” CONTINUES LATE NIGHT DOMINATION IN VIEWERS AND ADULT DEMOS

Adults 18-49 Audience Continues to Expand

Scores Biggest Tuesday Overnight Audience Since March

During week 32 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (3.58m) beat both “The Tonight Show” (2.20m) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.76m) and was the only late night show up year over year versus the same week in 2017-2018. Source: Nielsen live plus 3-day ratings for week ending Friday, May 3.

With 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW improved its advantage over “Tonight” in to +1.38 million viewers after leading by +890,000 with same day viewers.

Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW (3.83m) leads “The Tonight Show” (2.45m) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (2.08m) by more than +1.3 million viewers, and is tied with “The Tonight Show” in adults 25-54 (0.8/04) and adults 18-49 (0.5/04). THE LATE SHOW continues to beat “Tonight” in adults 18-49 audience (683k versus 666k). Source: Nielsen, live plus 7-day ratings (9/24/18-4/26/19), live plus 3-day ratings (4/29/19-5/3/19).
