EMMY AWARD-WINNER JENNIFER LANDON DEBUTS HER FIRST MUSIC SINGLE ON "AS THE WORLD TURNS" ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Emmy Award-winning actress Jennifer Landon of AS THE WORLD TURNS will debut her first single, "Slide," on the CBS daytime drama on Thursday, November 16 (check local listings), on the CBS Television Network.  The single is also available for purchase and download from the iTunes Store (http://www.itunes.com/). "Slide," written by Nini Camps, is published by Cherry River Music/Lovepie Music and produced by Procter & Gamble Productions, Inc. 

On AS THE WORLD TURNS, Landon's character, Gwen, is an aspiring recording artist who, with the help from her brother-in-law, Adam (Matt Cavenaugh), gets the chance to record "Slide" for her debut album.  Landon stepped out of her role to record the song in a New York City recording studio on Nov. 1.  For more information about the song and Landon's recording, also go to http://www.cbs.com/.

Landon, the youngest daughter of television legend Michael Landon, joined the cast of AS THE WORLD TURNS in May of 2005. Less than a year later, she took home the award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series at the 2006 Daytime Emmy Awards.

AS THE WORLD TURNS, the recipient of 12 Daytime Emmy Award nominations in 2006, including Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, is a Procter & Gamble Production and tapes in Brooklyn, New York.
