STACEY ADAMS NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, CURRENT PROGRAMMING, CBS ENTERTAINMENT

           Stacey Adams has been named Vice President, Current Programming, CBS Entertainment, it was announced by David Brownfield, Senior Vice President, Current Programs, to whom she reports.

            In her position, Adams will oversee the creative direction of CBS series THE CLASS, CSI, and CSI: MIAMI. She will also oversee the new CBS drama 3 Lbs, which she developed and championed during her three years at CBS Paramount Network Television (2003-2006).  

              As Executive Director Drama Development at Paramount, Adams also was involved in the development of CBS's NUMB3RS, CRIMINAL MINDS, JERICHO and NBC's "Medium."

            From 2001-2003, Adams teamed with Marla Ginsburg/Vertikal Entertainment as Vice President, Series Development at Fremantle Media.  She began her career as a   theater producer, but quickly made the switch to film and television as a director's assistant to Ken Olin.  She compiled six years of production experience in features and one-hour dramas as head of development for Ken Olin Productions.

            Adams attended USC School of Cinema and Television.
