"THE BIG BANG THEORY" IS THE HOLIDAY WEEK'S TOP ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOGRAPHICS

"The Big Bang Theory" Delivers Its Largest Audience in Nearly a Year and Its Highest Adult 18-49 Rating Since its Season Premiere

"The Millers," "The Crazy Ones," "Two and a Half Men" and "Elementary" All Post Growth From Last Original Episodes

CBS Has Five of the Week's Top 10 Programs and 11 of the Top 20

           In a holiday week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was the week's #1 entertainment program in viewers and key demographics, delivering its largest audience in nearly a year and its highest adult 18-49 ratings since its season premiere, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 5.

           CBS had five of the week's top 10 programs—THE BIG BANG THEORY, #4; THE MILLERS, #6; THE MENTALIST, #7; THE GOOD WIFE, #9; and ELEMENTARY, #10.

           CBS's entire Thursday lineup posted growth from their last original episodes.

CBS Weekly Highlights:

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (19.20m), adults 25-54 (7.3/18) and adults 18-49 (5.4/16), was up +9% in adults 25-54 (from 6.7/19), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 5.1/16) and added +1.52m viewers (from 17.68m, +9%) from its last original episode on Dec. 12.

THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its largest audience since Jan. 10, 2013, matched its season-high adults 25-54 rating and posted its best adults 18-49 rating since the Sept. 26, 2013 season premiere. 

THE MILLERSwas first in viewers (11.33m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08), was up +17% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/08) and added +400,000 viewers (from 10.93m, +4%) compared to the last first-run episode on Dec.12.  THEMILLERSposted its largest audience, its best adults 18-49 rating since Nov. 21, 2013 and its best adults 25-54 rating since Oct. 17, 2013.

THE CRAZY ONES was first in viewers (8.20m), adults 25-54 (3.0/07) and adults 18-49 (2.0/05).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Dec.12), THE CRAZY ONES was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/05) and added +330,000 viewers (from 7.87m, +4%). 

TWO AND A HALF MENwas first in viewers (8.74m), adults 25-54 (3.1/07) and adults 18-49 (2.2/05), was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/07), +16% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/05), and added +180,000 viewers (from 8.56m, +2%) from its last original episode on Dec. 12.

ELEMENTARY was first in viewers (9.07m), adults 25-54 (2.7/06) and adults 18-49 (1.9/05).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Dec.12), ELEMENTARY was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.5/07) and +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/05).
