PAULA MALCOMSON/ “ABBY DONOVAN”

Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, PAULA MALCOMSON has had a diverse career across film, television and stage. She was recently seen reprising her role of “Katniss’ Mother” in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and has starring roles in the independent films Grass Stains opposite Tye Sheridan and Battlecreek for director Alison Eastwood in the can. Her film work includes The Green Mile, A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Tombstone to name a few, but she is perhaps best known for playing “Trixie” in the critically acclaimed television drama Deadwood, and was nominated for a SAG Award® for ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series’ in 2007. Her work in television has continued with the starring role in Caprica, and in standout roles in John From Cincinnati, Sons Of Anarchy and many more. When shooting ends on this season of RAY DONOVAN, she will be returning home to star in Woolly Faces, a period piece based on the Northern Irish hunger strikes, to be directed by Pearse Elliott.

 

EDDIE MARSAN/ “TERRY DONOVAN”

British-born EDDIE MARSAN has established a diverse acting career over the last twenty years with a wide breadth of roles across film, television and theatre. He has won two British Independent Film Awards for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ for the films Vera Drake and Happy-Go-Lucky, for which he also won the National Society of Film Critics Award for ‘Best Supporting Actor’. Most recently, he was nominated for a third British Independent Film Award for his performance in Filth. He has also previously been nominated for an Evening Standard British Film Award for ‘Best Actor’ for The Disappearance Of Alice Creed. DASH MIHOK/ “BUNCHY DONOVAN”

 

Dash Mihok will next be seen in the Relativity film Before I Wake. He can also be seen in the independent films Too Late with John Hawkes, and Car Dogs with Octavia Spencer.

DASH MIHOK was most recently seen in the post-war drama Fort Bliss opposite Michelle Monaghan, and David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook playing "Officer Keogh," opposite Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

Raised in New York City, Mihok came up through the New York theater world and was affiliated with the esteemed City Kids Repertory. His big break came in 1996, when he was cast as "Benvolio" in Romeo + Juliet, director Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of Shakespeare's romantic tragedy. Still more success came as he won the part of "Pfc. Doll" in Terrence Malick's critically lauded war epic The Thin Red Line.    

After these notable performances, Mihok continued to create memorable and diverse roles in such films as The Day After Tomorrow, The Perfect Storm, Dark Blue, Basic, Connie And Carla, director Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, 10th & Wolf, Hollywoodland, Sex And Death 101, Whiteboyz, The Longshots, Marvel's Punisher: War Zone, and the unsettling motion-capture performance of the "Alpha Male" creature that went toe-to-toe with Will Smith in I Am Legend. On television, Mihok played the true-life character "Paul Janszen" in the Pete Rose biopic Hustle, and was featured in the CBS telefilm Murderous Intent. Other television credits include Gotham, Grey's Anatomy, Pushing Daisies, Hawaii Five-0, The Good Wife, Ghost Whisperer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Prime Suspect, Law & Order and How To Make It In America. He also had a recurring role on the hit J.J. Abrams' series Felicity.

 

STEVEN BAUER/ “AVI”

 

STEVEN BAUER was born Esteban Ernesto Echevarria in Havana, Cuba but his family migrated to Miami where he spent his early years. Bauer’s passion for acting was sparked during his years at Miami-Dade Community College. He later transferred to the University of Miami, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. While participating in school theater productions, Bauer landed his first professional role in the PBS bilingual sitcom ¿Qué Pasa, U.S.A.?, playing the teenage son of a Cuban exile family in Miami. After finishing his third season, he was called to Los Angeles to audition for roles in several TV series. He was credited in his early roles as Rocky Echevarría, including the miniseries From Here to Eternity and The Rockford Files.

In 1981, Bauer starred in the TV movie She’s In The Army Now, where he met his first wife, actress Melanie Griffith. Both Bauer and Griffith studied under famed acting teacher Stella Adler in New York City, and he appeared in several off-Broadway productions.

Bauer landed the role of “Manny Ribera” in the 1983 movie, Scarface. His performance drew a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role In A Motion Picture.

After Scarface, Bauer went on the play leading roles in Primal Fear, Raising Cain, and the 2000’s highly acclaimed, Traffic, for which he won a SAG Best Ensemble Award.

Bauer has recently made several guest appearances on network TV in series such as Breaking Bad, The Mentalist, CSI: SVU, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He is in his third season portraying Avi on Showtime's critically acclaimed series, Ray Donovan. When he is not working on Ray Donovan, he is busy with various film and music projects. Several of his films were recently released, including The Last Gamble, Five-Thirteen Degrees, The Lookalike, Once Upon a Time in Queens, and Sweet Lorraine which will be in theaters this year. He recently completed the French thriller, A Day Like a Week, opposite Armand Asante and Tom Sizemore, which will premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

 

KATHERINE MOENNIG/ “LENA”

A captivating force on both large and small screens, KATHERINE MOENNIG stands apart from her peers with a dedication to bold and groundbreaking roles. She is best known for her work as “Shane McCutcheon” on the SHOWTIME® series THE L WORD®. The series completed a successful six-year run. Moennig’s other television credits include series regular roles on Three Rivers opposite Alex O’Loughlin and Young Americans. She was also seen as a guest star on DEXTER®, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and CSI: Miami.   

Moennig’s film credits include Gone, The Lincoln Lawyer, Everybody’s Fine and Art School Confidential. Moennig will also star in the upcoming indie Default and My Dead Boyfriend opposite Heather Graham and directed by Anthony Edwards.

As a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Moennig has appeared on stage in the Jason Moore (Avenue Q) directed Off-Broadway play Guardians opposite Lee Pace. Other stage credits include As You Like It, Comedy Of Art, The Theory Of Total Blame and Morning In The City for the Williamstown Theatre Festival.

 

POOCH HALL/ “DARYLL”

POOCH HALL is best known for his portrayal of “Derwin Davis,” a new and eager wide receiver for the San Diego Sabers, on the comedy series The Game. Hall is a trained boxer who won the Southern New England Golden Gloves in 1994. He also played football in high school and college. In an effort to try something new, he participated in a stage production in college and discovered that acting was something he truly enjoyed. He began his professional acting career in New York, when he landed a small role in the independent feature film Lift, opposite Kerry Washington. He went on to starring and supporting roles in the independent films Black Cloud and Blind Dating with Chris Pine for director James Keach; and larger studio films like Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming and the hit film Jumping The Broom. On the small screen, Hall worked with Jenna Elfman on the CBS primetime series Accidentally On Purpose and had recurring roles on Suits and Warehouse 13 for Syfy.

 

KERRIS DORSEY/ “BRIDGET DONOVAN”

KERRIS LILLA DORSEY is best known for her roles as Brad Pitt’s daughter in the Oscar® nominated film Moneyball and as Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner’s daughter in the Disney film adaptation of ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY.

No newbie to television, audiences watched her grow up as “Paige Whedon” on the critically-acclaimed series Brothers & Sisters, which ran for five seasons. She has also guest-starred on various television shows including Don’t Trust The B---- In Apartment 23, Medium and Shake It Up!

Dorsey’s movie career ranges from heavy drama (Walk The Line), to lighthearted family comedy (Just Like Heaven, Disney’s Girl Vs. Monster, and the American Girl series McKenna Shoots For The Stars), but her appearance in the Golden Globe® and Academy Award® nominated film Moneyball established her as a bona-fide star. In the film, Dorsey displayed her musical skills by playing the guitar and covering one of her personal favorite songs “The Show,” by Australian songstress Lenka. Dorsey’s rendition sold 86,000 downloads on iTunes, and reached #6 on the soundtracks chart. Most recently, Kerris starred in Disney’s film adaptation of ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY, which released in October 2014.   Kerris played Emily, Alexander’s sister who, along with the entire family, experiences a very bad day as the result of a resentful birthday wish by Alexander.  For the film, Kerris and her real life sister, Justine, wrote and performed the end credits song ("Best Worst Day") which went on to win the Overall Grand Prize in the 2014 USA Songwriting Competition.

 

DEVON BAGBY/ “CONOR DONOVAN”

Hailing from San Diego, California, DEVON BAGBY knew he wanted to be an actor from a very early age. After years of persistence, he convinced his parents to enroll him in acting classes. He gained representation quickly, and the back and forth to LA started. In addition to RAY DONOVAN, Bagby also recently played an angry abused teenager on NBC’s Ironside and guest starred on the hit crime drama CSI: NY. Bagby continues to grow as an actor daily with guidance from his co-stars Liev Schreiber, Jon Voight and Paula Malcomson.

 

DAVID HOLLANDER - Executive Producer

David Hollander’s television writing credits include creating and executive producing The Guardian for Sony Television and CBS, creating and executive producing Heartland for Warner Brothers and TNT, serving as the executive producer and showrunner of The Cleaner for Paramount/CBS Television and A&E Networks, and now serving as Executive Producer and showrunner on the SHOWTIME® drama RAY DONOVAN. Hollander has held overall deals with CBS Productions and Sony Pictures Television and has developed for all of the broadcast networks, as well as for HBO and SHOWTIME®

As a director, Hollander helmed the pilot and series finale of Heartland, and directed all of the season finales of The Guardian, as well as the 2009 feature film Personal Effects (2009), starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Ashton Kutcher and Kathy Bates. He also works as a screenwriter and playwright and served on the faculty of the University of Southern California's Graduate Screenwriting Program.  

 

MARK GORDON – Executive Producer

Mark Gordon is an award-winning motion picture and television producer with more than 100 motion picture and television projects to his credit. 

Gordon’s upcoming movies include STEVE JOBS, written by Academy Award winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and directed by Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle, and ARMS AND THE DUDES, starring Jonah Hill and Miles Teller, with Todd Phillips directing. Past film credits include SAVING PRIVATE RYAN (earning him Academy Award and BAFTA nominations, as well as a Golden Globe win for Best Picture), 2012, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, SPEED, SOURCE CODE, THE MESSENGER and THE PATRIOT. As executive producer and financier, Gordon’s credits include TOMB RAIDER, WONDER BOYS, THE PAINTED VEIL, A SIMPLE PLAN, and PRIMARY COLORS.

In television, Gordon currently serves as an executive producer on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Criminal Minds,” and “Ray Donovan.” In 2015, Gordon was honored by the Producers Guild of America with the Norman Lear Award for achievement in television. Gordon is also a five-time Emmy nominee and two-time winner. Additionally, he won a Golden Globe for his work on “Grey’s Anatomy.” Some of his other television credits include the Emmy Award winning “Warm Springs,” "Private Practice," "Army Wives" and "Reaper."

In 2015, The Mark Gordon Company partnered with Entertainment One (eOne) to create an independent television and film studio. Gordon serves as CEO for the company, which both finances and produces premium content by Mark as well as other producers.

Gordon is the President Emeritus of the Producers Guild of America, having served as its President from 2010 through 2014, where he spearheaded the establishment of The Producer’s Mark. 

A devoted philanthropist and champion of public education, Gordon is the founder of Citizens of the World Charter Schools (CWC), which serves 1,300 students across five schools in Los Angeles and Brooklyn, New York. CWC will be expanding to include a middle school in Los Angeles in the fall of 2015, and two more schools in Kansas City in 2016. He serves on the board of the Archer School for Girls and is the former chairman of Teach for America Los Angeles. Gordon is a former board member of the Virginia Film Festival, Chrysalis, the Motion Picture and Television Fund, and UCLA Lab School.

 

BRYAN ZURIFF - Executive Producer

Bryan Zuriff is executive producing the upcoming Universal film Jobs, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin; based on Walter Issacson’s best-selling biography. In addition, Zuriff is executive producing the Warner Bros. film Arms and the Dudes, based on Guy Lawson’s Rolling Stone article of the same name, starring Jonah Hill and which Todd Phillips is directing. He is also developing the highly anticipated film Cowboy Ninja Viking for Universal, written by Craig Mazin and starring Chris Pratt. 

As a former talent manager and Executive VP of Marketing at Content Partners, Zuriff has diverse industry knowledge and experience. He notably executive produced Oren Moverman’s The Messenger, which starred Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster. The film garnered Academy Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay (Oren Moverman & Alessandro Camon) and Best Actor in Supporting Role (Woody Harrelson) in 2010, and was honored with numerous other film industry accolades.

Zuriff also produced Jacob Estes' dark comedy, The Details, which starred Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney and Ray Liotta. The Weinstein Company purchased the film’s distribution rights at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for $9.2 million, making the most successful film at the festival.

Zuriff grew up in New York City and now resides in Los Angeles with his wife and four children.
