7 DEADLY SINS – SERIES SYNOPSIS
With irreverence, insight, and gluttonous abandon, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock brings an intimate and searing look at the Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Greed, and Sloth. Every episode will focus on a different sin, each through the experience of the “sinners,” who are either intentionally pursuing, or are already enraptured in, the thralls of their sordid afflictions.
GLUTTONY
Gluttony features Nikki, who at 700 pounds aspires to be the sexiest and heaviest entertainer in the world; Dr. John Basso, whose Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas offers free meals to anyone weighing over 350 pounds; and meet the craftsmen revolutionizing the coffin market for the morbidly obese.
ENVY
Envy introduces us to men that want to temporarily be women so bad that they turn themselves into living female dolls; a young man who envies the disabled so much that he uses a wheelchair despite his healthy legs; and women that treat hyper-realistic dolls as the newborn babies they desperately wish they had.
LUST
Lust introduces us to a handsome young man that prefers ladies thrice his age, a prostitute-promoting minister that practices what he preaches, and a sex toy craftsman that lovingly specializes in the only live-molded horse dildos in the entire country.
WRATH
What embodies Wrath more than a fight club full of angry amateurs willingly pummeling each other on a regular basis? How about the men that built a better bullet, upping the carnage factor and turning one shot into a weapon of mass destruction?
PRIDE
Pride gives us Elizabeth Starr, a porn star whose O-cup breast implants may likely be the death of her. We also visit the place where the dying go to be frozen until the distant future, hoping that as-of-yet unborn doctors can bring them back to life and make them healthy once again.
GREED
What’s a better example of Greed than a service that matches openly honest gold diggers with available men of means? How about a pastor that preaches avarice over affection? Or the hunters that want to kill every animal on the planet so badly that they pay someone to bring them to their own backyard?
SLOTH
Sloth shows us the tongue patch, a surgically implanted device that prevents users from tasting food; and a high-tech device for mutually masturbating with your partner without ever leaving your respective apartments.
