No. 1 Kentucky Takes On Florida and No. 6 Wisconsin Battles No. 23 Ohio State on CBS

 

Missouri Valley Conference Championship Tips-Off Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 PM, ET

 

An action packed weekend of college basketball on CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network this weekend includes four Top-25 teams, four bubble teams and at least one bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line. On Saturday, March 7 (2:00 PM, ET), *No. 1-ranked Kentucky looks to close out its unbeaten regular season against SEC rival Florida. Syracuse at NC State tips off the day(12:00 NOON, ET) with the Wolfpack looking to play their way off the bubble and into the NCAA Tournament. A Pac-12 contest rounds out the day’s coverage at 4:00 PM, ET, with Stanford visiting No. 5-ranked Arizona in a key resume building contest for the Cardinal.

 

Kevin Harlan and Dan Bonner handle the call for Syracuse-NC State from PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. Bob Mansbach produces and Mike Arnold directs. Ian Eagle and analyst Doug Gottlieb call the action for Florida-Kentucky from Rupp Arenain Lexington, Ky.  Ken Mack produces and Jim Cornell directs. Spero Dedes is joined by Mike Gminski for Stanford-Arizona McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. Ryan Galvin produces and Chris Svendsen directs.  

 

CBS Sports broadcasts another tripleheader on Sunday, March 8, highlighted by No. 6-ranked Wisconsin at No. 23-ranked Ohio State (4:30 PM, ET) from Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Sunday’s tripleheader begins with an American Athletic Conference matchup between Memphis and Cincinnati (12:00 NOON, ET) from Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following at 2:00 PM, ET is the Missouri Valley Conference Championship from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.

 

Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas call Memphis-Cincinnati. Vic Frank produces and Andy Goldberg directs.  Verne Lundquist, analyst Jim Spanarkel and reporter Allie LaForce handle the call for the Missouri Valley Conference Championship. Craig Silver produces and Suzanne Smith directs.  And, Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery and reporter Tracy Wolfson are courtside for Wisconsin-Ohio State.  Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs.  

 

CBS Sports Network features eight games this weekend, highlighted by an Atlantic 10 matchup on Saturday between Dayton and LaSalle (4:00 PM, ET), as the Flyers look to earn at least a share of the Atlantic 10 regular season title. Rich Waltz and analyst Alaa Abdelnaby announce from Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia, Pa.

 

An Ivy League matchup between Brown and Harvard follows at 6:00 PM, ET. With a win against rival Yale on Friday evening, Harvardwill be playing Saturday’s game with the League’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament at stake. Sean Grande and Vince Curran announce from Lavietes Pavilion in Boston, Mass. At 10:00 PM, ET, Nevada visits San Diego State with the Aztecs looking to capture at least a share of the Mount West regular season crown.

 

On Sunday, CBS Sports Network features the semifinals of the Patriot League Championship (2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, ET). Jason Knapp and Chris Spatola announce the first semifinal, while Dave Ryan and Steve Wolf announce the second contest.
