ALL THREE EDITIONS OF "BIG BROTHER" PLACE AMONG THE WEEK'S TOP 10 BROADCASTS IN VIEWERS AND TOP FIVE BROADCASTS IN ADULTS 18-49

CBS Wins the Week with Seven of the Top 10 Broadcasts

      All three editions of BIG BROTHER placed among the week's top 10 broadcasts in viewers and in the top five among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending August 23.

      In addition to BIG BROTHER, ZOO was also a top 10 performer and the week's #1 new scripted broadcast, helping lead CBS to a weekly win in viewers with seven of the top 10 programs.

BIG BROTHER

  •  BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY  (6.52m) was first in adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/08), posting the night's top deliveries in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 (1.5/07). 
  •  BIG BROTHER THURSDAY (9:01-10:00 PM) was first in viewers (6.48m), adults 25-54 (2.6/08) and adults 18-49 (2.0/07).  Compared to last week, BIG BROTHERwas up +13% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/07) and added +400,000 viewers (from 6.08m, +7%). 
  •  BIG BROTHER SUNDAY (8:01-9:00 PM) was first in viewers (6.15m), adults 25-54 (2.5/07) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.0/07, with FOX).

 

ZOO

  •  ZOO averaged 5.85m, 1.0/03 in adults 18-49 and 1.4/04 in adults 25-54.    

 

EXTANT

  •  EXTANT won its time period in viewers, averaging 4.66m, up +4% from the prior week.    EXTANT was even in both adults 25-54 (1.1/03) and adults 18-49 (0.7/03).

 

UNDER THE DOME

  •  UNDER THE DOMEaveraged 4.04m, 0.8/03 in adults 18-49 and 1.2/04 in adults 25-54. 

 

Prime averages are based on the following hours of rated broadcasts in Week #48:

NBC – 22 hours

ABC – 21 hours

FOX – 16 hours
