“LET'S MAKE A DEAL” SCORES ITS MOST-WATCHED SECOND QUARTER EVER

“The Price is Right 1” Delivers Largest Second Quarter Audience Since 2004;
“The Price is Price 2” Nets Largest Second Quarter Audience Since 2007

““The Bold and the Beautiful” Notches Best Second Quarter in Viewers Since 2006,
While “The Young and the Restless” Has Biggest Audience Since 2010

“The Talk” Tops “The View” in Viewers for the First Time in Any Quarter

            LET'S MAKE A DEAL delivered its largest second quarter audience ever, while several other CBS daytime programs also hit second quarter viewer milestones, according to Nielsen most current ratings for the second quarter ending June 28.

            LET'S MAKE A DEAL 1 averaged 3.08m while LET'S MAKE A DEAL 2 averaged 3.53m, both up +10% from last year and scoring their biggest second quarter audiences since premiering in 2009.  Among women 25-54, LET'S MAKE A DEAL averaged 0.9/06 and 1.0/07 respectively, matching its best delivery.

           THE PRICE IS RIGHT 1 averaged 4.71m, its largest second quarter audience since 2004, while THE PRICE IS RIGHT 2 averaged 5.41m, its best since 2007.  Both editions registered +2% increases from a year ago.

           Among the daytime dramas, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL delivered its biggest second quarter audience since 2006, averaging 3.95m, up +5% from last year, while THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS notched its largest second quarter viewer delivery since 2010 with 5.16m, up +6%.

           THE TALK topped “The View” in viewers (2.54m vs. 2.52m) for the first time in any quarter.  THE TALK also out-rated “The View” for the first time in women 25-54 (0.9/06 vs. 0.8/06) and tied in women 18-49 (0.6/05).
